Finn Construction Ltd. is a young company experiencing growth. Our concrete division has recently set up a batch plant with a Reimer Volumetric concrete mixer. Volumetric mixers store all the materials for making concrete in separate bins and mix the materials on site.
This means: • There is never any wasted concrete because we only mix what you need, not what you order. • There is no time restriction on the mix because the concrete is mixed on site in an auger on the back of the truck. We wait for you to be ready before we start to mix. • The mix can be altered without reloading. For example: we can pour a curb at 25mpa, fence posts at 20mpa and a coloured patio out of the same truck in a single trip. • The truck has two admixture bins: one for air entrainment (we provide on-site testing upon request), and another for whatever else may be required; such as high early, plasticizer, super plasticizer, delay set, accelerant, and water reducer.
