Jungle Jim's

Jungle Jim's is so much fun. We were on a summer road trip when we saw this place and stopped to have a bite. I had never heard of Jungle Jim's before and wasn't sure what to expect. This place is ALL about the atmosphere. The jungle/tiki theme is great for kids. They have a good selection on the children's menu and it's super fun that once the kids have chosen their meal, they get to wear their menu as a tiki mask! The service was good, the food came quickly - maybe even too quickly. We were still exploring the decor. The price was in line with other midrange family restaurants. The food was good, though not great. The menu offers a massive choice and caters to a variety of diets. My husband ordered something called the Kitchen Sink which turned out to be a huge plate of various fried foods. He isn't particularly health conscious, so this suited him just fine. I ordered off the Slim Jim menu and maintained my girlish figure. All-in-all it's a really fun family restaurant.
