The mission of Solid Foundations Montessori School is to facilitate each child’s optimum development in an excellent Montessori based, academically nurturing, Christian environment.
The vision of Solid Foundations Montessori School is to provide a holistic educational approach that considers the uniqueness of each child and promotes their emotional, intellectual, spiritual, physical, and social well being. In the early 1900’s, Dr. Maria Montessori founded the Montessori method of teaching. Her approach to education was designed to attend to each child’s individual needs by focusing on learning through the spontaneity of human intellect. Dr. Montessori built structure off of these three primary principals: observation, individual liberty, and preparation of the environment. We integrate this method into our Montessori program.
