Renee Doucet and Seph Peters are a local Halifax duo; masters of their crafts. Renee is a fiddler who switches with ease from Irish to Scottish to Cape Breton tunes. Fluidly combining tunes of different origins and exploring them in inventive ways, her playing has grit and drive. When paired with the ever-so-talented guitarist Seph Peters, audiences watch and listen in awe; letting themselves become mesmerized by the intricacies of sound these two players produce.
The duo can be transformed into a trio or quartet with other talented musicians coming on board, potential instrumentation being fiddle, guitar, banjo, bagpipes, and bodhran.
