Nova Montessori preschool is located at 3311 Pembina Hwy, in South Fort Gary area of Winnipeg. Our 3500 square feet indoor space and large outdoor natural play scape area are designed to follow in the footsteps of the Montessori philosophy. Classrooms are carefully organised to match both physical and academic needs of each age group, . We offer full time, half day, and part time Montessori program for children of 2 to 6 years of age. We open year around from Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 5:30 pm.
Our daily program is designed to deliver variety and flexibility for children. The program mainly consists of Montessori curriculum that covers five major areas; Practical life, Sensorial Language and Literacy, Math, and Culture. We also have enriched our program by incorporating some aspects of play based curriculum that includes Role Play, Music and Movement, Arts and Craft, and Circle Time. We allow ample time for solitary work, group play, music, art, snacks, meals, outdoor play, and napping. Our outdoor play area is designed according to natural playscape concepts. Order and routine are the two main elements fostered in our program."
