Capturing the memories and romance of a couple’s special day is my full time job…but I don’t like to call it a job really… it's more like a dream come true!
There is nothing more rewarding than being a part of someone’s big day, and afterwards presenting them with their ‘story’ so they can re-live it over and over again! I love meeting new people and being faced with new situations… I have photographed country weddings, beach weddings, vintage/garden weddings, church weddings, huge weddings and small/intimate weddings. This is my passion, getting paid is just a bonus (hence my affordable prices). Many of my friends have become my clients, and now many of my clients have become great friends. I pride myself on being friendly and approachable, and I have been known to help out at weddings beyond what they have hired me for -helping brides getting ready, the set-up of the reception, pinning the flowers to the groomsmen… the list goes on! My style is soft, dreamy and natural with a hint of creativity… I aim to capture the ‘real you’ but with a hint of glamour, but on the same note, I am able to adapt to my bride and grooms’ needs too. I've had ‘camera shy’ clients, kids that don’t listen (or stay still), some that ‘don’t take a good picture’…I tell them not to worry…in the end, they absolutely love what I capture and they don’t know how I managed in the circumstances. I used to aim for ‘perfect’ and be disappointed when it wasn’t…some of my best work has been ‘in the moment’ and that is now how I roll… Pretty as a Picture Photography specializes in weddings, engagements and boudoir.
