Description

Jon is a graduate of both University of Windsor and St Clair College who has lived and worked in Windsor for nearly 10 years.
By 18, he had developed a deep interest in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and while still studying International Relations and Political Science at The University of Windsor, began working in various law offices in the city. Starting small he began as a trial aid, process server and clerk, then moved into research and drafting. In 2010 he graduated from St Clair College Windsor Campus, as a member of the very first Paralegal class. Promptly thereafter, he opened his own private practice in Windsor, where he serves to this day. When asked about his feelings on the comparatively new distinction of Paralegal versus the time honoured and iconic Lawyer Jon had this to say: "I debated becoming a lawyer, but once Paralegals became regulated by the Law Society , I knew it was for me. Lawyers do wonderful things in and for the Community, and Windsor is lucky to have some great ones. If you want to make out a will, or sell your home or defend a murder charge then that is what a Lawyer is for. There is a reason they charge as much as they do. That being said, sometimes it is just a matter of a tenant owing you back rent, or someone backing into your car in the Superstore parking lot. These are day-to- day issues that everyone faces, but coming up with $300 or more an hour for a lawyer hardly seems worthwhile. All too often money stands in the way of people getting access to justice. A Paralegal can help with that. Paralegals were created to make sure that everyone has access to affordable justice, and that is what I want to give the people of Windsor."

I would recommend him to anyone for anything; he is knowledgeable, and gets results! I have used him for small claims and a speeding ticket and he delivered for both.
