The Home Inspector

Description
Ontario has no system in place for the licensing of Home Inspection professionals.[BR/][BR/]The establishment of the OAHI (now also CAHPI Ontario) by the Provincial legislature in 1986, was the first step towards protecting Ontario's consumers. Only Registered Home Inspectors (RHI) have been through the most rigorous testing and screening in the industry. Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation [CMHC] is working with CAHPI to set a minimum national standard for home inspectors but you can be assured that OAHI's standards will exceed those set in the National Initiative. James helped set the National Standards as a member of the pilot group of inspectors who were screened and tested. He received CAHPI's National Certificate Holder standing in November of 2006.
