BTH Education Group specializes in training I.T. Professionals. Students may choose between diplomas in Software Development, Internet Development, Programming, or I.T. Engineering.
Our philosophy is to prepare students for the modern workplace, so that as graduates they may enter the job market with confidence in their knowledge, skill and ability to perform the tasks that will be required of them. We achieve this through using the Mastery Learning Methodology (MLM). Numerous studies over the years have shown that traditional classroom methodologies are inferior to individual study methodologies. Students have different levels of prior learning and different learning abilities, and therefore learn new material at different speeds. These studies show that using the Mastery Learning Methodology significantly improves students' subject retention and skills mastery by up to 300% more than a lecture-based approach. These students can pace their studies to suit their experience and ability. This means that students can focus on sections which they find challenging and progress quicker through other sections. Monthly reports keep both students and parents/sponsors updated on the students' progress. At BTH, support is always at hand - students will not be left to their own devices. Instructors are readily available to ensure that students receive the support and coaching that they need to understand the study material and complete their projects.
