I've taken my CBR250R into Gerry twice now, and I don't plan to ever take it anywhere else. GAC is a small family business, and I'm always a fan of supporting those. Shop time is dirt cheap compared to outfits in the city because Gerry runs it off his acreage and passes the reduced overhead down. I also like knowing that the owner will be working on my bike, rather than passing it down to a newer mechanic who may not have figured everything out yet. I've had problems in the past with reputable car mechanic shops getting apprentices to work on my car and screw up basic things with significant long term consequences. The peace of mind knowing that's not happening with my bike is worth the ride out there. Gerry says that he's got 30 years experience, and I don't doubt it. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and will very happily answer questions. Every time I talk to him, I learn quite a bit. I'll be taking my bike to Gerry until one of us moves or he retires.
