Hi, my name is Donald Boudreau. My background is in engineering and in 2005, I proceeded to plan and manage the construction of my new house. This was a first experience for me. As well, the house was a uniquely designed structure with several less than common features.
I gained a lot of valuable experience in the process. I had to make many critical decisions, select amongst a large variety of products and have frequent technical conversations with contractors. It struck me that people with little knowledge of the construction process or little time available would find it difficult to plan their new home and/or deal effectively with contractors.
