I hired Pamel to complete a basement. Worst decision ever made.Tthe work: 1. Framed the space over a foot from the exterior wall, turning a 3 bedroom basement into 1 bedroom. 2. Did not insulate exterior wall - pipes froze in the winter, costing me over $3000 to hire an emergency plumber to tear down the bathroom wall, thaw pipes and insulate 3. Didn't insulate between floors - can't rent out the basement due to noise 4. Didn't install a sub-floor - the laminate is sitting on dirt ground and the amount of bugs that come in is horrendous. 5. The once full size bathroom including tub is now a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower stall Mt Nightmare: One worker was caught taking pictures of my butt. he was asked not to return, the replacement guy smoked pot IN MY HOUSE and didn't show up. I complained to Pamel, & the guy was furious, told me to "be careful" because he's been charged with assault. I was afraid in my own home, and this experience cost me thousands of dollars and anguish.
