Visser’s Greenhouses & Garden Centre has been operating for about 25 years with a bedding plant section for approximately 19 years, the bedding plants being the main focus for the past eight years. They used to grow tomatoes, later cucumbers and then switched over to flowers, growing cut snapdragons for florists. Eight years ago, Terry Visser constructed a 7000 square-foot retail space where all the bedding plants are sold retail.
Visser’s Greenhouse & Garden Centre also grows a large selection of the well-known popular bedding plants. They also like to keep on top of what is up-and-coming, providing plants that are innovative, easy to grow, and in step with the latest colour and design trends. They also provide a good selection of quality perennials, as well as a variety of vegetables. Also available to the customer are several types of soil mixes, fertilizers, mulches, and hardware such as urns, planters, tools and other unique containers for purchase. Also look for their unique selection of decorating accessories which promise to be different than anything your neighbours may have.
