We, Michael and Pamela Casey, bought Finbar's in October 2004. The business had some challenges, to say the least, but we saw a lot of potential and we knew with a little luck and a lot of hard work we could really do something special. We wanted to create a place that was friendly, inviting and different from the norm, a neighbourhood pub that offers fantastic food, great service and a feeling of comfort for everyone. The community of Bedford and the surrounding area has been incredibly supportive and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal patrons for helping us so much over the years. Finbar’s is our baby, we live it every day and we love it. We even got engaged kneeling on the bar in front of all our friends and patrons. We handpick our staff, our music, our entertainment, even our groceries; we are proud of the results so far and we’re getting better all the time. We wouldn’t be in this business if we didn’t enjoy people so please introduce yourself on your next visit, we’d love to meet you.
