Afghan Horsemen Restaurant

During our visit this weekend to Vancouver we were fortunate to try out this restaurant on Saturday evening with 6 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival to the restaurant, parking the car was easy and they do have some spots available in front. We were greeted promptly and asked if we had a reservation. We were given a time frame due to the restaurant being busy and we were given an hour and a half to complete the meal, which we completed in plenty of time. There are three areas to this restaurant; one with tables and chairs and two areas where you take off your shoes and sit on cushions instead (we were in one of the cushioned rooms) The server quickly took our drink order and took our food order in plenty of time. We ordered three different platters (which are good for two people each), which was plenty of food for us and we did have leftovers to take with us. The food was tasty, had flavor and was the perfect temperature to eat. Besides the platters they also have single dishes you can order.
