Mad Science Vancouver

My child is in grade 1 and his school offered an 8-week after-school program with Mad Science. My son wants to be a scientist when he grows up. But I have been very disappointed with the program - it seems to have offered no inspiration or education and in fact seems to consist of the kids playing with Lego for an hour. This is worth $17/hr from each student? The instructor is not prepared - every single week she had failed to bring enough of the take-home projects for all of the students so they have to wait until the next week, or even 2 weeks, to get them. Maybe their party events are better, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this program.
