The restaurant is operated by Chef Itt Koovanichkul and his wife, Ketsarine Koovanichkul. Itt came from Thailand to study in St Catharines in the Year 2000 starting from language school to computer engineering. Later on, he realized his passion for cooking, so he continued his studies in culinary school at Niagara College. Then came Ittis Thai Restaurant in September 2007.
