Overall this place is as standard as sushi gets, but it’s a standout in this neighbourhood because there’s no sushi competition. They have all the standard types of menu items, good service, and the place seems pretty clean. Lunch combo prices are okay, but I thought the sashimi lunch combo was a bit expensive at $10+ If you're into the usual combos with the ubiquitous California roll add-on then this is a better deal. Parking here is tight - drivers are very aggressive so watch out! Wakame has been open less than a year but word has spread so get here early to avoid the lineup. Try to get one of the big booths if you can; these are much more comfortable than the chairs.
