Scaddabush

I've come to this location numerous times over the past few years. With their recent renovations they have a much more open concept design which can be disorienting and quite loud if you go on a busy night. The menu has also been trimmed down to the fundamentals. Don't expect a diverse and long list of things to choose from here, and I found the pasta choices to be dull and lacking. I had the Chicken Arrostito and the waitress was honest enough to warn me that it normally takes about 5 minutes longer than average to prepare the dish. In the end, it was worth it. But be forewarned, this is not a cheap restaurant. Entrees average about $18 and most of the desserts are about $8, just to give you an idea. Overall, great for a "once in a while" dinner with friends, particularly because they have numerous tables designed to seat large groups.
