not just a greasy spoon, this way off the beaten path cafe in the industrial area off broadway is a fantastic find. only open on the week days. they have daily specials, last time i looked they were serving up dijon lamb chops. apparently they were featured on a food network program. their mantra seems to be "Downtown food, at a East Van price." come and check these guys out if you have the day off or in the area. a must try
