My son and I went into Subway right before the Canada Day parade for a quick lunch to take with us to watch the parade. The poor girl behind the counter was on her own and out of most kinds of bread (which was baking) but she was still really friendly and did her best. Fortunately they had whole wheat so my son had that and the deli meat and veggies were nice and fresh. He had turkey, lettuce and tomato on a 6 inch bun with chips and a drink. My husband had a pizza sub and we bought some cookies for a snack later on - it was well made and delicious and all for under $15.
