Ye Old Town Pub
9-11 Church Street,Business details
Description
e Olde Towne Pub, patterned after an English Country Corner Pub, is the smallest pub in Nova Scotia’s history! The building, erected in 1884, is triple brick with bars on the side and back windows because it was a bank in the very busy port era. Situated at the main wharf, there were five sets of rails for trains to deliver goods directly to the ocean-going freighters. Later, the building became a liquor store and later still, a bakery.
