Garrett's Meat Shop

This is a locally owned meat shop which they told me the minute I walked in the door.. I was greeted with country charm and friendly faces. I had been at a local grocery store getting steaks a few weeks ago and a customer recommended trying Garrett's Meat Shop for steaks and also their home baked goodies. We had a bbq gathering over the weekend so I went to check it out. The very first thing other than the friendly greeting as I walked in the door that I noticed was the smell of the fresh baked goods. The assortment of meat blew me away. I was sent to get 'steaks' Well.. I don't know much about steak.. just that I throw it on the bbq,. cook it up, add some sides and voila steak dinner The butcher recommended a cut of steak to me, that had already been pre seasoned, asked the ages of the people dining, and what things I was having with them.. It wasn't a highly priced cut of meat either, I walked out with $30 worth of steak for 6 people, and a few home made pies, which were to die for.
