With more than 25 years of administrative employment experience in the National Capital Region, I can attest to the fact that Barbara Personnel was by far the worst employment agency I have ever had the displeasure of working with in Ottawa. One employee in particular still comes to mind after many years; Linda Lanthier. After having been unjustly accused of taking a longer lunch by the client (I had actually taken a 20 minute lunch instead of a 30 minute lunch), Linda Lanthier contacted me in my workstation by telephone and SCREAMED that I was fired and would never work for Barbara Personnel again. That was in 1998, when I was a struggling single mother of a two year old child. Thankfully, I used this experience as a stepping stone and now own and operate my own virtual assistant company. ZERO STARS is my review for this employment agency.
