Howard Lopez is a Toronto musician known for his ‘tuxedo and tails’ Grand Piano performances.
Classically trained, Howard graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto with his A.R.C.T. in Piano Performance. He then went on to complete his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at the University of Toronto. Howard has been performing concerts and at events for more than 30 years. He is one of the most recognized pianists in the Greater Toronto Area. Howard Lopez is the first choice for many looking to enhance their wedding, corporate event, to add charm to a consumer or industry trade show or liven up a private party. Howard has recorded and produced two albums, Under the Piano and Music & Mistletoe. Both have received critical acclaim and have been syndicated in several countries outside of North America including Japan and Brazil. Both albums are available on Amazon.com, iTunes and CD Baby. Howard has composed music for film scores and jingles. He is also an accomplished producer working on albums for other celebrated performers. In the midst of this activity Howard has become an accomplished businessman with investments in a music recording studio and an inventory of grand pianos that are offered for short and long term rentals. Throughout his career Howard’s performance elegance has inspired clients to ask for his assistance in bringing his style to their whole event experience.
