Dr.Wang is a provincially certified and licensed Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist(Dr.TCM & R.Ac.) currently seeing patients in the Greater Surrey area including Langley, South Surrey, White Rock and Delta. His area of clinical specialty is back pain, sciatica and women's conditions. Outside of this he also treats a wide scope of other chronic pain and organ issues.
Dr.Wang has learned from various masters of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and combines their strategies into his own unique style of treatment, which is characterized by formulating a treatment plan based on his clinical findings, rather than what the patient tells him. In order to do this Dr.Wang employs various techniques of Chinese Medicine assessments and check-ups to gain a thorough understanding of what is going on behind the patient's complaints. Dr.Wang will explain in easy language so patients understand why they are suffering from their problem. Dr.Wang's treatments involve Acupuncture and/or Chinese Herbal Medicine. Not all acupuncture are the same. His style of Acupuncture is traditional TCM style Acupuncture, which involves placing needles away from the problem area but is still able to effect it in a positive way. Patients may have had acupuncture before from physiotherapists or some other modern medicine practitioner; but Dr.Wang's method is completely different. The two are not the same. The Chinese Herbal Medicine Dr.Wang uses is also classic TCM style Herbal Medicine, which is tailored prescriptions to each unique patient. It is individualized on the basis of each patient's unique clinical situation at the time of visit, and is modified accordingly based on the changes in Dr.Wang's clinical assessment findings. Frequently Dr.Wang will tell the patient they have improved before the patient tells him. Even if the patient does not report anything, Dr.Wang can still pick up subtle differences in the body which patients may not yet realize.
