Buyer beware – HAD TO SUE THIS COMPANY We contracted Kirkfield to do a large project in our backyard. It was a disaster!!! Despite numerous attempts to contact them, they did not return our calls or e-mails and the job went unfinished. When we called another contractor to finish the job, he discovered that the commercial grade landscaping fabric that Kirkfield claimed to have used and charged us for, was of very poor quality, he also discovered that in parts of our yard, Kirkfield put down black garbage bags instead of landscaping fabric. The quality of the work was substandard and almost all of the trees, shrubs and bushes that they planted died shortly after and despite all of their invoices stating that they warranty their work, this was not the case. We took them to small claims court where they admitted their shortcomings and agreed to pay us back what the court awarded us. Kirkfield has yet to pay and we are now being forced to take further legal action against them. Do not use this company!!!
