T & A Painting

I hired T and A to paint a small apartment kitchen (not the ceiling) and two small hallways. I was charged $150.00 for the painting which took one hour. However i was also charged a $50.00 supplies fee.This fee did not include the paint.and I was not told about the charge when I received the estimate. I am a senior and I was too tired from moving everything back to question the fee at the time. I called later and was told the fee covered insurance on his men, and travel expenses (he was also painting two other apartments in my building that day) rent for the use of his tools and for the time it took to wash the brushes and rollers. Overall, he took advantage of a senior citizen and I would not recommend him.
