About Irving Luftig
After graduating from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in 1976 , I went on to attain my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine / Case Western Reserve University in 1980. I returned to Toronto ,doing a residency , working with Dr Hamilton Hall MD ( orthopedics ) , as well as Dr Ricky Schachter MD ( chief of Dermatology ) , and Dr Glenn Copeland ( chief of Podiatric Medicine ) at Womens College Hospital , University Health Network in Toronto. I started my private practice in Hamilton in 1983 , and then formed a second office in Mississauga at Credit Valley Hospital with Dr Steve Rosenfeld MD ( orthopedics ). Although I have been practising for 35 years , I still enjoy coming into the office every day , helping my patients with their foot problems.
