Turn around and run away. Steve Mattless was hired to install a retaining wall for a friend of mine. He hadn’t gotten any permits to do this job and while he was there he hit a gas line and kept on working, he did not stop even after 911 was called. He knew he had hit the line and did not stop the machinery. When Utilities showed up he had no permits to show and blamed it on the home owner, he said she was responsible for getting them, he didn’t he even have an inspector come in to inspect his work or picture proof and had to take the entire wall down to inspect the footings. Needless to say he did not complete the work, But in the end he was fined big money from the City of Peterborough and my friend had to find another contractor to complete the work which She had to pay for her self and is still paying for today. This man should be in jail for what he does to people. So like I said RUN......
