Thai Sa-on Restaurant

Thai Sa-On, rated as the best Thai food restaurant in Calgary by John Gilchrist on CBC Radio, is my favourite Calgary restaurant. Everything from the decor, to the ambience, food, service, and menu variety make this a first class dining experience. My friends and I have been celebrating everything from birthdays, to engagements and even the odd divorce here for years; heck, the only excuse we need to head to Tai Sa-On is it's Friday night, or Saturday night, or Sunday night or ..... The menu offers something for everyone. There are several appetizers to choose from, try the #5 deep fried marinated stuffed pork rolls - they are awesome! The main dishes include a variety of beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and fish dishes ranging from 1 to 3+ in spiciness (which is clearly indicated on the menu). There is even a separate vegetarian menu! I love the cashew chicken and the Jackie Chan beef. You have to try the coconut rice - it's fabulous! We love going with a group of friends so we can order several dishes.
