A-1 DRIVING SCHOOL. A-1 Driving School is North Bay's largest driving school because of the dedication and hard work of our professional instructors and office staff over 35 years. In fact, our team has over 85 years of combined experience. When it comes to safety... we're North Bay's driving force! A-1 is a Ministry - Approved Beginner Driver Education Cource. We have 7 instructors to suit your schedule. Your graduate certificate (Drivers Licence History) is recognized by the insurance industry. There are 20 hours of in-class instruction, 10 hours of take-home assignements and 10 hours of in-car training. We offer outstanding defensive driving technique such as visual awareness, collision avoidance, emergency manoeuvres, and much more! We have a spacious air conditioned classroom and clean air conditioned vehicles in the summer.
Pick-up in town for driving lessons. We also offer private, senior, and corporate lessons.
Ontario Safety League Inspected Course Provider, 55 Alive (for mature drivers), Professional Driver Improvement, Course (PDIC) and Defensive Driving Course (DDC).
