I visited your Branch yesterday and viewed the museum upstairs .I would like to make you aware of the fact that you have a Canadian Army battle dress khaki blouse on display . It has Three rank stripes on the arms (Sgt) plus award ribbons on the left breast with an American Combat Infantryman's badge above . This indicates that the owner was a member of the Devil's Brigade of WWII. It was a combination of US and Canadian troops (made famous by the Hollywood film "Devil's Brigade") They were the first Special Forces group leading to the Green Berets /Navy Seals of today. It would be interesting to know who the blouse belonged to. The name and Service number may be in the inside of the jacket. There was a member of that group who used to live in Oshawa and there are only 14 living members of the group (includes one living in Cobourg).
