Central Fairbank Lumber Ltd.

This is a review for Central Fairbank in general, but in particular their East End location on Gerrard St E near Main Street. Since we moved into our 89 year old home in the Upper Beach, we have been a customer of this lumber yard. Over the years, we have been slowly restoring our home to its original appearance. Central Fairbank is the perfect place to get all the wood trim we need to complete our interior woodwork. They even have exact reproductions of the 8" oak baseboards which were original to the home - something that it is impossible to get at any of the Big Box renovation stores. The staff have always been helpful and courteous, and very accomodating in allowing my husband to select the best cuts (i.e. without flaws or knots) that best suited our needs. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking to complete some finish carpentry, or working on other projects that require rougher lumber.
