Huy is a graduate of Dalhousie University with a bachelor’s degree in commerce (finance major) and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation that distinguishes investment professionals with advanced knowledge of portfolio management, financial analysis and industry and ethical standards.
Prior to joining RBC, Huy was a director and head trader for a large institutional investment manager and has over 10 years of industry experience. As an Investment Advisor, Huy's role is to oversee portfolio strategy and work with his team to support clients by providing expert advice in: • Investment Management • Financial Planning • Tax Minimization • Wills and Estate Planning • Risk Management / Insurance A member of the CFA Institute and Calgary CFA Society, Huy is a husband and father. Outside of the office he enjoys playing golf and hockey, and travelling with his family.
