I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC # 14888) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA # 10001260). I am practicing with The Centre for Response-Based Practice in Kamloops. The belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity is the cornerstone of my practice. I will provide you with practical and concrete strategies to deal with the conflict or struggles you might be experiencing.
I focus my work on couples / marriage counselling. I also specialize in working with families (adolescents/tweens/teens) that are experiencing conflict in relationships in the home / school or with substance use concerns. I have over 10 years experience working with teens/youth and adults who have experienced multiple barriers and face situations of extreme oppression and risk. I am an approved provider with the following: Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) Great-West Life Green Shield Canada ICBC Inter Tribal Health Authority (ITHA) Manulife Pacific Blue Cross SSQ Financial / Insurance SunLife First Nations clients with a Status Number may be able to receive fully funded sessions through FNHA, please call to inquire. Check your plan for specific details to determine if some or all of your sessions are covered.
