She then spent 12 years – from 1994 to 2006 – as a realtor for Re/MAX Quinte Ltd. After moving back to Ottawa in 2007, she worked for Royal LePage, and in 2010 moved to Keller Williams. Her career also extended beyond real restate, serving as City Councillor in Belleville between 2003 and 2006 and as Chair of the City of Ottawa Business Advisory Committee between 2009 and 2013.
