At Home Inspection is Island owned and operated by Mike Gallacher. Mike has 25 years experience with home construction, plumbing, heating, A/C and ventilation, as well as electrical.
Mike began his education doing foundation form work and framing of new homes, including window and door installation as well as asphalt and cedar roofing, deck building and laying hard wood floors. Mike then went on to earn his Red Seal inter-provincial license in oil burner mechanic and oil tank installation and inspection licensing. With his oil burner mechanic Red Seal came experience with the repair and installation of warm air furnaces and duct work systems, repair and installation of hot water boilers, in-floor and baseboard radiation systems and repair and installation of oil fired domestic hot water systems. To further broaden his knowledge, Mike then earned his Red Seal inter-provincial license as a Construction Electrician, gaining vast experience in all aspects of commercial and residential electrical applications including main service, distribution panels, and branch circuit repair and installation. As well as extensive work with electric motors and motor control systems. residential ventilation, A/C, heat pumps service and installations, and commercial ventilation, A/C, heat pump service and installations.
