I am a Clinical Social Worker and Registered Couple and Family Therapist with 15 years of experience. I work with people who are or have been impacted by depression or anxiety, illness, loss, infidelity, separation and divorce, family issues, stress and parenting. I can help you understand more about who you are and the relationships you hold.
Individually, I can help you face the fears that hold you back and help you discover the self-defeating patterns or thoughts and behaviours that get in your way. Relationally, I can help you rebuild trust and intimacy, deal with past disappointments, and improve how you connect with each other by helping you reduce blame and conflict, learn to soothe and understand each other, communicate more effectively, and use better coping strategies. I can also help you and your family members enhance your communication, problem solving and conflict resolution through life transitions and traumatic experiences. My therapeutic approach is integrative, influenced by attachment and systems theory, emotionally focused therapy, and is strengths-based and solution-focused.
