Description
Cracked concrete foundation walls can be repaired in order to stop water from even entering your home at all through the crack injection process.
In many cases the most cost effective approach in repairing cracked foundation walls, is to inject a substance directly in to the crack from the inside of your home. This method provides a permanent repair the can be completed by a single technician in only a few hours.
In order to complete a foundation crack injection repair, a technician will apply a four stage process.
1) Expose the crack from top to bottom from the inside of the basement wall.
2) Prepare the crack by thoroughly cleaning it to expose the aggregate, then by clearing all debris.
3) Injection ports are then attached to the wall from floor to ceiling and the remaining areas of crack are sealed with an epoxy surface seal.
4) Epoxy or Polyurethane is now injected in to the crack from port to port, bottom to top, until the entire length of the crack is filled.
* Injection ports remnants may be cut-off with a knife or saw following a 24 hour curing period.
