Bottom line: I would not deal with this company again. I hired them to install a toilet for my condo unit. I felt I had done my research when I purchased an American Standard toilet from a big box store, reading reviews (which were by and large positive) online. I had previously hired this company to install new flooring and was satisfied with their work, so I assumed they would be just as good for a small job like a toilet installation. Unfortunately, my toilet leaked at the base about a month after installation. The contractor, blamed it on the manufacturer (the wax ring wasn't thick enough), but I wasn't convinced. Why would a big toilet manufacturer supply you a wax ring that's not compatible with the toilet base in the installation kit that it came with? Or why didn't he notice that I needed the thicker ring during the installation? He fixed the issue by replacing the wax ring with a thicker plastic ring, asking for $100 for parts and labour. I paid $50. It felt like an ordeal.
