I’ve been working in the sign industry as a graphic designer since April of 2000. Over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to do design work for a lot of different applications such as logos, brochures and fridge magnets as well as trade show displays, vehicle graphics and feature walls.
My time spent working as a designer over the past 14 years has allowed me to deal with a lot of design challenges which in turn allowed me to come up with solutions for those challenges. I’ve learned that people usually know what they want but they have trouble getting the vision out and onto page or screen. That’s where I come in. I can help you realize the vision you have for yourself or your business. It’s a process. A process that I’ve been through a lot over the years. The best part is that it’s never the same. There is always a different solution for each different client. Being different is what it’s all about. The other side to what I do is the fun side. Where I get to design posters for my favourite sports teams (the Riders, the Blue Jays & the Maple Leafs… don’t laugh… they’ll win the cup someday!), or build chocolate gardens for my wife. There are plenty of opportunities for creative outlet when designing those sorts of things. It’s all fun! My career has been about you, the client. I want to make sure that you get something unique, something that you’re proud of, something that will help you achieve whatever goals you’ve set for yourself. It’s important to remember that a lot of the time, your logo or brand is the first thing that people will see. It’s important that what they see represents you properly.
